Treyarch is also teasing that something is rumbling deep underground on the map, though players will likely have to get further into the season to learn what exactly is in store. That would line-up with rumors that Verdansk may see its with a nuke event, possibly as a means of wiping out a potential zombie outbreak. A long-missing cargo container ship seems to be making its way towards Verdansk, and it's very likely carrying some type of alien/zombie cargo. Warzone's Verdansk map will be changing, with a new loot pool and new points of interest around the map. Later in the season, players will be able to check out Warzone's Exfiltration mode as well, which sees players attempting to secure a radio for an extended period of time to secure an instant victory. For Warzone players, the Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme limited time mode will up the max player count in a respawn-enabled frenzy for supremacy.
